Fun facts about Parmalee:
- Parmalee found inspiration in their name from a small town in North Carolina named Parmelee.
- Parmalee first started creating music in a small barn in 2001.
- Parmalee has won over several awards throughout their career including two Academy of Country Music Awards for Vocal Event of the Year and Video of the Year.
- Two of the members of Parmalee are brothers!
- Before Parmalee was formed, Scott and Matt Thomas both performed in a band with their father. Their band name was Jerry Thomas and the Thomas Brothers Band!
- The official name for the ‘super fans’ of Parmalee is ‘The Parmalee Famalee’.
- In 2018, Parmalee released a song called “Down Town (Hurricane Florence Relief Song)”. All proceeds from sales were donated to the American Red C0ss to help all families from the Carolinas recover from the storm.
