New Artists, Upcoming App Launch, & Ticket Price Increase. Anticipation Builds for Charlotte’s Signature Spring Celebration
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (MARCH 13, 2025) — Lovin’ Life Music Fest produced by Southern Entertainment, announced today that pop singer-songwriter Alex Warren, Grammy-winning hip-hop pioneer DJ Jazzy Jeff, and emerging talent Ro$ama will join the lineup for this year’s three-day event, set for May 2–4, 2025, in Uptown Charlotte.
Named one of PEOPLE’s “Talented Emerging Artists Making Their Mark,” Alex Warren is a rising pop artist with over 26 million followers across social platforms. Known for his emotionally honest lyrics and vulnerable vocal style, Warren has connected with a global fanbase through songs like “Yard Sale” (18M+ streams), which chronicle his personal journey from six years of homelessness to viral stardom. His breakout single “Ordinary”—written for his wife about their time living in a car—quickly gained international momentum, charting in six countries and climbing into the Top 20 in the U.S. within its first week.
Also joining the lineup is DJ Jazzy Jeff, the Grammy-winning icon and longtime collaborator of Will Smith as part of the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. Together, they sold over 10 million records and earned multiple awards, including three GRAMMY®s. Jeff is also the founder of A Touch of Jazz, a renowned Philadelphia studio that has worked with artists like Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, and Floetry. He continues to tour globally and is widely regarded as one of the most influential DJs in the world.
Ro$ama, an East Texas native, is quickly gaining traction on the national rap scene. Known for viral hits like “FedEx” and collaborations with 2024 XXL Freshman BigXthaPlug, Ro$ama recently contributed to the Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire soundtrack. Now signed to 600 Entertainment, he’s gearing up to join BigX on the “Take Care” U.S. tour later this year.
Several Lovin’ Life performers are already making national headlines ahead of their May appearances. Benson Boone recently performed at Coachella 2025, debuting his upcoming sophomore album American Heart and delivering a surprise collaboration with Queen’s Brian May on “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Boone’s signature energy, complete with on-stage flips, offered fans a taste of what’s to come.
Lola Young, also on the Lovin’ Life lineup, delivered a standout performance at Coachella that included two new tracks, including the unreleased single “Spiders.” Despite illness, the British singer-songwriter captivated the crowd, further cementing her status as a breakout artist to watch this year.
To help fans make the most of their weekend, the Lovin’ Life Music Fest app will launch this Wednesday. The app will serve as the exclusive source for the full performance schedule, allowing attendees to browse set times, customize their lineup with personal reminders, and receive real-time updates throughout the weekend. A new interactive map will help users navigate between stages, food vendors, restrooms, and other attractions with ease.
The 2025 Lovin’ Life Music Fest brings together a dynamic blend of musical talent, including performances from Dave Matthews Band, Gwen Stefani, Weezer, Pitbull, Third Eye Blind, and Teddy Swims, with more than 50 artists scheduled to perform across multiple stages throughout the weekend.
