Before you head to Uptown Charlotte for an unforgettable weekend, here’s everything you need to know to have the ultimate fest experience.
First Rule of Lovin’ Life: Get there EARLY.
Gates open at 2:00 PM on Friday and Saturday and 1:30 PM on Sunday — and trust us, you’re going to want to be first in line.
The entry rush between 4:30–6:30 PM looks a lot like Charlotte traffic at 5 o’clock on a Friday — and we know you don’t want to spend your fest stuck in a line when you could be grabbing your favorite artist merch, exploring the grounds, or catching secret moments popping up all over the site.
Pro Tip: To beat the rush and be in your spot for your must-see artist, plan to arrive at least 2–3 hours before their set time.
Why Early Arrival Matters:
- Exclusive Merch: Artist collections and official LLMF gear go fast. First in, first to score it.
- Fan Moments: Some artists are popping up around the grounds for random acts of kindness — you never know who you’ll bump into early.
- Food & Drink: Charlotte’s best eats — from Vic the Chili Man to Mac’s Speed Shop — are on site. Early birds get the first bites!
- Immersive Art & Experiences: Local artists, secret installations, and #Love2BKind surprises are happening all over. Arriving early gives you time to explore it all.
Being Fest-Ready:
- Wristband Activated: Your wristband is your key to everything — entry, bars, vendors, and fun. Activate it ahead of time to skip extra steps at the gate. Activate Now!
- Phone Charged: You’ll want it — trust us. Between surprise meetups, the Miller Lite Light Show, giveaways, and share-worthy moments, you’re going to be using it all day. We’ll have a charging station on-site if you forget your portable one!
- Fest App: Download the Lovin’ Life App! It’s your portal to schedules, maps, secret drops, and more.
- Plan your outfits! Friday is Bring Back the 90s, Saturday is Island in the Sun (plus Bald Cap Night during Pitbull’s set!), and Sunday is Peace & Love. Come ready to vibe with the theme — or just rock your best fest look!
